FAQ
Yes. We go by appointment so that we can provide each of our brides with our undivided attention. Working with a dedicated associate allows you to be educated on all of your options, as well as all of the unique services that the boutique has to offer. Since our appointments are held in one of our private bridal suites, we want to ensure we have a room available to accommodate you and your guests as well.
We recommend purchasing your gown about 9-12 months before your wedding. This will allow plenty of time for gown production, shipping, fittings and alterations. Of course, we can always work with the designer to rush a dress for shorter time frames.
We do not have a set price range of our gowns as we have multiple designers who offer customization options to their gowns, but our starting price point is $1,700. Just let us know the range where you feel the most comfortable and we will take care of the rest!
We schedule bridal appointments for an hour and a half. We feel this allows the perfect amount of time to consult with your stylist, try on six to eight dresses and revisit your favorites. If you need more time, we are happy to schedule another appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that you can fill out a brief form prior to starting your appointment.
While we are closed Sundays, we do offer the ‘VIP Experience’ for brides and her bridal party. These appointments take place on select Sundays and allow you exclusive access to our boutique. If you are interested in learning more about this luxury experience or would like to book your VIP appointment - please call (913) 268‑5566.
We recommend bringing any undergarments that you plan on wearing on your wedding day. While most of our dresses will have enough built-in structure already, it truly comes down to what you are most comfortable with.
We often see that brides with smaller parties have the easiest and overall best experience in finding her wedding dress. We recommend bringing the true ‘decision makers’ in your life. These are the family and friends who understand your personal style and the overall look/feel of your wedding, so that they can assist you in selecting a gown that compliments both. Often bigger parties forget about what the bride likes and give opinions that are more of their own personal taste. At the end of the day, it’s about you and what makes you feel like a bride!
Our boutique is set in a small house and each bridal suite is set up to feel more like a living room. Each suite can comfortably accommodate up to 4-5 guests. If you do plan on bringing more than 5 guests, please know they may feel a little cramped and/or there may be a bit of a wait as we will need more time to set up a suite for a large party.
Yes! We will gladly store your gown and steam it out for your big day as a part of our Steam Package ($200). This service offers peace-of-mind and convenience for the bride. Ask your stylist for details!
Alterations are a very important step in the wedding dress process. Nearly all bridal gowns need alterations and you can expect to pay approximately $300-$800 for this service. While we don't offer alterations in-house, we do have seamstresses we recommend. Call B|E at (913) 268‑5566 to find out more. Please note: You reserve the right to use the seamstress of your choice.
